Hi @Marilyn, welcome! We're so glad you're here so you can learn about how to safely get off the Effexor. I'm tapering Effexor too as are many other members: https://taper.community/forums/effexor So you're just on this one medication? Are you taking any other prescription drugs or supplements? Please create a Signature for yourself that will appear at the bottom of all your posts (see mine as an example). You can do this in Settings > Drug History (make sure to Save when you're done). With Hyperbolic tapering, you don't want to taper anymore than 10% every four weeks from the previous month's dose. The reductions will get smaller and smaller as time goes on. It's easier on the brain this way since the greatest changes in serotonin happen at extremely low doses. Take your time and really listen to your body. Slower is faster. We look forward to having you here and supporting you through your journey! Catina 🩷

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg
