That road is so hard; I'm sorry you have to go down it. I’ve been down it too. All those symptoms, the brain zaps, dizziness, nausea, insomnia, the weird electric feelings, that’s a nervous system that’s been through a lot trying to recalibrate. It can feel horrible, but it’s not you and it’s not a personal failure. It’s withdrawal. Be gentle with your system while it sorts itself out. Hugs to you.

Hi Ang! Welcome to the community. Way to get going on the check ins! As you fill it in you’ll be able to deck your own taper and see how it compares to others on seroquel. Hoping your symptoms subside soon!

I had similar experiences tapering off seroquel. It gets better with time. I have been off for 6 months now and am able to regulate my emotions and nervous system A million times easier than when I was on it. I regret ever starting it in the first place - but am so glad that I dont have to deal with taking it anymore. Life is 100 percent better now :)

"am able to regulate my emotions and nervous system" — @Oxycoffin
Hey Oxy, quite the handle. lol. Like you I am getting pretty good at regulating my emotions and nervous systems. What people here need to know is how you do that. I use breath work and a bunch of other tools, which I will write about and share here so others can benefit. I am curious what you do to manage yourself that works for you. I'll add in whatever is helpful so people have a quiver of ammunition to use in their battle. Please advise?
