4th Luvox Update - Feeling Okay

June 16, 2026··
taper update
Feeling okayish. Been having bouts of nausea, anxiety, fatigue, gi upset, and tinnitus. And feeling a little shaky today. Lately I am sleeping better, though I still twitch as I am falling asleep some. When I wake up is the hardest right now. I wake up with my heart racing and feeling panicked. I’ve been deep breathing and it seems to subside as I become more awake. The nausea and low appetite have also been a struggle. I am also having other health problems and I don’t know what is withdrawal and what is related to the other stuff.

Hi Jessica, I'm glad your sleep has improved and that you have found something to help when you wake up panicked. Nausea and appetite changes are common in withdrawal. Here is some information about nausea that I hope will help: https://taper.community/thread/230a8c26-1cbb-41b8-806f-da294f25ed11

Venlafaxine (tapering) - Current dose 17.92 mg
Trazodone - 50 mg
Levothyroxine - 25 mcg

Hi, so you got better after battling the symptoms you had? That had to be a tough time. Glad you found yourself in a better shape. Nausea and appetite changes are also common responses to anxiety.

Prozac — 40 mg — 6 months — holding | Zyprexa — 20 mg — 6 years — holding | Depakote — 600 mg — 8 months — **tapering** | Buspirone — 20 mg — 8 months — holding | with clinician

I also feel like the mornings can be strange in withdrawl and you can feel awful, panicky but it gets better within the next 2-3h for me.

off Stimulants (2000-2013)
off Fluoxetine (2010-2013)
off Lamotrigine (2013-2016)
off Quetiapain (2016-2020)

currently Effexor — 33mg — 13 years (from 300mg) — actively tapering | with clinician
