I just want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has spent years collecting, organizing, and sharing all of this knowledge and experience.
So many things finally make sense now. I finally understand why tapering—and especially changing doses back and forth—can create so many problems.
At the same time, it's deeply upsetting to realize how often these powerful medications are prescribed without a full understanding of withdrawal, and how many of us are left to figure things out on our own.
That said, we've made it this far.
Of course, none of this guarantees that anyone will be able to come off their medication completely. But understanding why setbacks happen, and recognizing that what looks like a relapse may actually be withdrawal, makes everything so much clearer.
For years, I felt that something wasn't right. I knew there had to be a reason why things kept happening the way they did. Now, I finally feel like I understand what has been going on.
I feel shocked, angry, and at the same time incredibly relieved. Most of all, I feel hopeful that I finally have a roadmap for approaching these medications safely, carefully, and with patience.
I truly hope this knowledge becomes a catalyst for change and helps prevent unnecessary suffering for countless others.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. 🙏
