38th Effexor Update - Feeling Fair

April 7, 2026··
taper update
For the most part I slept well last night. However, every time I woke up out of a deep sleep I could feel very tiny brain zaps. Also, when I woke up this morning and turned on my computer, everything was blurry and like I was seeing double! This happened one other time last year, so I knew it would eventually clear up, which it did. I'm having some mild anxiety today. I'm so glad I'm taking my time and only reducing by one bead per month. As we like to say around here, "one bead at a time."

Yeah, I'm the weird one! That's usually when I experience them.

Sorry you're experiencing all of that, but happy the blurriness and double vision went away. I don't recall if I ever woke up from brain zaps, but that would be annoying! Hang in there, poco a poco. One bead at a time ⚪
