I don’t know what is happening with my body. It is buzzing. It’s everywhere and almost constant. I think my muscles are rigid from the twitching but I don’t think the twitching is visible. I can feel it. My right eye keeps weakening. And then it will clear and then I’ll feel it do it again. This is torture

Hey Jessica, so sorry youre going through this. If you feel really poorly please dont hesitate to go to the ER. I know it may seem like a set back but its important we get you stabilized before anything else. Were working on finding you a clinician but in the meantime please take care of yourself and dont hesitate the reach out to find help in any capacity. If you have been tapering, reinstating your last dose at which you were stable may be an option.

Hi Jessica, I'm really sorry you're going through this. You're going to be okay. Inner vibrations are a common withdrawal symptom. The document I sent you goes into it in more detail and can help you understand why your body is doing this. Regarding your eye, this is most likely a withdrawal symptom too. Withdrawal can affect our eyes too. Many people have experienced these types of things and have recovered, so hang in there. Are you able to sleep at all? Can you take some more time off from work? Also, it may be easier said than done, but can you try and distract yourself from focusing on something else when you're going through this? It might help. https://taper.community/thread/e47305af-d74b-4d06-94eb-743f747886a6 We're here whenever you need to vent or reach out. You're not alone! ❤️

This is definitely an option, but they might try to "help" with giving her another drug, which could potentially make things worse for her. It's a tough call in a situation like this unfortunately.

This is unfortunately the case, however in times of crisis i feel as though its important to get the crisis to stop and then we can taper step by step in a better enviornment.

BP, do you think it would be safer in her situation to updose the drug that her body is used to rather than adding another one?

Depending on if she has been tapering or not. If shes tapering than ya, hold or reinstate. If not then something else should be done.

@Catina @Based Psychiatrist my doctor told me to cut to 75. I had already started tapering slightly by myself because I was desperate. I cut to 75 and the first 2 days were ok but day 3 had a reaction similar to this. It was awful (but not as bad as last night). I decided it hadn’t gone well so at about 4 am, I took the 12.5 remaining. Then the next night I took the 75 and waited til 2 and took the 12.5 remaining trying to keep it consistent. Then tonight I took the full dose (87.5) at 10:30. I would say about midnight this feeling hit. I still can feel it some. It not as bad. My muscles are cramping and I had this awful creepy crawly sensation even in my head . I also had chest pain

Hi Jessica, sometimes going up and down in dose can sensitize our nervous system. It starts trying to adapt to a lower dose, and then if it's increased our nervous system gets a bit confused. A suggestion would be to find a dose that you feel stable enough at and allow time for your nervous system to adjust. @Based Psychiatrist, feel free to add your own thoughts too! I'm sure you'll get this figured out Jessica, so hang in there. 🩷

I remember one instance where splitting doses only to join them later like that did harm.

Prozac — 40 mg — 6 months — holding | Zyprexa — 20 mg — 6 years — holding | Depakote — 600 mg — 8 months — **tapering** | Buspirone — 20 mg — 8 months — holding | with clinician

@Jessica A, you sent me a message about your rash and I will respond here. A rash can happen with both an adverse reaction and withdrawal, so it's hard to say what's going on. If your rash appeared after your dose reduction, then it's most likely withdrawal, but I can't say with 100% certainty.

@Jessica A it was olanzapine. Joining it next day caused pain, full body pain.

Prozac — 40 mg — 6 months — holding | Zyprexa — 20 mg — 6 years — holding | Depakote — 600 mg — 8 months — **tapering** | Buspirone — 20 mg — 8 months — holding | with clinician

@Jessica A I would say there is a possibility you are getting those symptoms due to splitting then joining doses.

Prozac — 40 mg — 6 months — holding | Zyprexa — 20 mg — 6 years — holding | Depakote — 600 mg — 8 months — **tapering** | Buspirone — 20 mg — 8 months — holding | with clinician

But then you were getting similar problems due to withdrawal, on the third day too, so on the day you were most likely to experience withdrawals. You were going a bit too fast given such a fast blood clearance of this drug.

Prozac — 40 mg — 6 months — holding | Zyprexa — 20 mg — 6 years — holding | Depakote — 600 mg — 8 months — **tapering** | Buspirone — 20 mg — 8 months — holding | with clinician
