Hi. I tried 3 years ago to come off Zoloft after many years and i did the dr taper of halving my pills. Then quarter and skipping days etc. After being done I all of a sudden had horrible withdrawal symptoms so bad i went back on. I didnt know what was happening and. The dr wasnt helpfulj

Hi Carol Ann, thanks for joining us. The consensus best approach is to reduce a certain % each cut, rather than half, quarter etc. You can set up a taper in the taper plan tab, try that out and let us know how its goes! Hi @Carol Ann, welcome! So glad you're here so you can get the proper information on how to taper off your Zoloft. Most doctors are not properly trained in safe deprescribing and recommend the tapering regimen you mentioned. Sorry you went through that!
